Shiva paintstiks (also known as Markal in some countries) are oil-based paint sticks. They are made from pigment, oil and wax and resemble large crayons wrapped in a cardboard tube. The iridescent colours work best on dark colours and can be applied by rubbings, stencilling or simply direct to your surface. They are heat set and permanent on fabric. For that touch of metallic galmour, consider applying Shiva Paintstiks to your fabric.

Sets of 6 rubbing plates in each theme to use with your Shiva (Markal) paintstiks. Great effects and wonderful results! Simply place under fabric, rub shiva stik over to get pattern onto cloth and you have your own unique piece of cloth.
