Shiva paintstiks (also known as Markal in some countries) are oil-based paint sticks. They are made from pigment, oil and wax and resemble large crayons wrapped in a cardboard tube. The iridescent colours work best on dark colours and can be applied by rubbings, stencilling or simply direct to your surface. They are heat set and permanent on fabric.
