The secret to using these brillant colours on fabric is to wet the fabric first. Fantastic blends, intense colours are your rewards for colouring your fabric with Derwent's Inktense pencils. The inktense pencils can also be dipped in water and then applied for a more precise placement of colour. The colour will remain on the fabric after laundering but at about 1/2 the intensity. To preserve colour if the piece is to be laundered, cover pencil areas with a thin layer of Jo Sonja's Textile Medium.
The Outliner pencil is not water soluable and is used to add detail to your work. The Ouliner is black.
