Tips for Using Metallic Thread on your Sewing Machine:

1. Decrease your top tension
2. Use a larger needle such as a 90 if going through a number of layers
3. Slow down the free style machine embroidery speed.
4. Use a plain cotton thread or other plain thread in the bobbin (thus saving the metallic for where you see it!)
5. Use a specialty metal thread needle as these are designed to help the thread through the needle.
