Tyvek

Tyvek is a non-toxic Tyvek sheet of bonded, spun polyethylene fibres. Paint, stitch, heat to create exciting textile art. It can be coloured with watercolour paint, permaset paint, lumiere's etc to create wonderful coloured sheets. It can be stitched by hand or machine or simply use to create crusty beads.

Vanishing Muslin

Guttermann's Heat away is a special webbing which dissolves during the ironing process and can be brushed off.

Step 1. Frame up 1 or 2 layers in a frame.
Step 2. Embroider/ quilt design
Step 3. When complete trim away excess close to stitching.
Step 4. Cover work with baking parchment or similar.
Step 5. Lightly iron (no steam) at temperature to match fabric until Heat Away turns brown.
Step 6. Brush away the remains using a soft brush.
