Transfer (disperse) dyes are for acrylic, polyester and ployester blends and elastic. These dyes differ from other dyes as the common method of use is by painting the dye onto paper and once dry ironing onto fabric, thus transferring the colour. The colour of the liquid dye is often very different to the transferred colour so some experimentation and play is needed to become familiar with this kind of dye. They can be used on fine cotton, wool and linen but the results are not as clear.
Dyes are sold by weight. Please note that some dye colours weigh more than others. Instructions included with every dye sold.
